There is NO championship affiliation with the results of those events at all, except that it's a bunch of people who paid a lot of money to travel a long way to race a 'cross race on the same course that 'cross nationals would be held on the next few days. Other than being promoted by the same folks and on the same course as 'cross nats, the 'B' races are just for fun and aren't related to 'championship' events at all. Those aren’t ‘national sandbagging champions’. Question did you ride the course, did you go to KC?
