I don’t like to think there’s a curse as such magically emanating from a computer game placing someone’s picture on the cover. If an athlete’s performance results decay next year, there are several reasons, and one of them MAY be regression to the mean. Armstrong never went wrong in those 7 years of winning even though several magazines displayed his picture proudly. You probably would have a different opinion if Armstrong was displayed on PCM cover. Wonder what you would say then :)
