The End (https://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/end), oops, coincidences, doping, I’m Calm, Sinkewitz, Vayer, Froome, Wiggins, Het Nieuwsblad, women, equal prize money, All-City, QBP.

Good stuff as always. I look forward to these vids a bit more each week as the spring classics approach.
On a slightly relevant note the 35th “Vuelta a Independencia” wrapped up this week in the Dominican Reoublic. Granted a 2.2 UCI race, but still a pretty big deal for the Caribbean and part of South America (Kazakhstan and Luxembourg sent their National squads).
Most surprising was video the coverage from Venezuelan channel TVR uploaded to youtube. Here is the vid for the race summary of all stages (it’s in Spanish though)in case anyone is curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1-NXO4pqRM&list=UUuwiLwxQwbv6dI_wXPx0fBQ&feature=c4-overview
Cheers Cosmo!
Cool—thanks for the link. I actually just participated in a Dominican flag raising at my day job earlier this week as part of the independence celebrations as well.
I was also quite surprised when I threw that intro together to see how many 2.2’s there were out there this early in the calendar.
Awesomely done, Cosmo! Enjoying the down and dirty and transparent commentary (i.e. no holding back) on topics of relevancy in the cycling cosmos (sorry, it’s Friday and I’ll buy the next round eventually). Be Well and enjoy the Belgian Dubbel this weekend!

Excellent episode as always.
Having said that I have an issue with your take on All-City. While I understand going after the all-male naming structure (you left out Mr. Pink) All-City is the best possible example of putting their money where there mouth is when it comes to supporting women in the industry. Take a look at their roster of employees; (https://allcitycycles.com/index.php/staff_bios/aboutlist) 4 total employees – 3 women, including the individual who designs each and every one of those bikes (Anna Schwinn). In addition they sponsor several women riders in both the track and alley cat racing world.
I don’t work for QBP nor do I own an All-City bike; however, I think that it is important that you give credit where it is due. Unlike their parent company they are doing more than just offering internships.
I say bravo All-City (and keep up the good work Cosmo The Week in Bike is the best!).
I was slightly surprised at the All City takedown too. A bike company is more than their naming structure. But the naming structure is peculiar and does make it seem like it focuses on men riding bikes.
thank you for being an unapologetic feminist. fire ze missiles
