New Ag2r Jersey: Corrected

Posted on 19 June 2009 by cosmo

So Ag2r, perennial also-ran at the Tour de France, has announced a new jersey for this year’s edition of the Grand Bouclé. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up at the printers, but through my European contacts, I’ve managed to get a copy of the actual jersey the team will be using this June:

If you’re curious, the font is Proxima Sans Medium, but Gill Sans MT Bold is a passable (and free) stand-in.

WTF! They decide on new kit for the TdF and this is what they come up with, brown and blue splothes on a white backgound? They would have been better off with your version! And to think people were making fun of the Columbia kit. Compared to this crap it’s art.

yes, it’s sad what french cycling has come to; but it’s not clear why it deserves contempt (instead of just pity).

This is bad, but the Columbia kit is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. The only person silly enough to want to win a stage and be photographed wearing it is that media whore, Englishman !

Out of curiosity, what happened to the domain over the last ~24 hours?

Glad to see it’s yours again!

How do we get our hands on this new jersey? I notice they are not selling it yet on their own official website.
