There are times when it’s frustrating being on the other side of the world. A little trouble with the video (codecs, transcoding, slow capper upload speed) held up the Strade Bianche HTRWW by about 24 hours. Which is still pretty fast, all things considered.
I will shamefacedly concede that the delay did allow GCN to get a Strade Bianche “race report” video posted before I did. You should check out both videos, of course—with the advantage of actually being there they get a great look at the condition and feel of the gravel roads involved.

Still think it is too early to label this thing a classic. The Tour of Langkawi has been going for longer. That said, it’s well on its way to providing some epic and fun to watch racing.

HTRWW is significantly more interesting than the GCN video. By far. Your insight and tactical acumen illuminate what others miss. Somebody needs to start paying you for this work. Don’t know what model works: advertising, subscription or what, but you’ve got something of real value here. Rock on

I always love watching these but surely with a surname like yours you can pronounce the Italian names better, ce and ci are ‘ch’ , No(ch)entini and Can(ch)ellara
