With that sweatshirt I want to think that you are set-up in a loft in Uptown Minneapolis and that I will see you riding around the lakes some afternoon this spring.

Nope—currently in Hartford, CT. While people here miss the Whalers, I don’t feel like there’s quite the same bitterness. The more-complete name change, the lack of ludicrous Norm Green subplots, and the fact that people play a lot of hockey in Minnesota might have something to do with it.

I actually got the hoodie when I lived in Boston, and it was pretty cool to see what a conversation piece it was. Bars, Home Depot, on the street in Central Square—North Stars fans everywhere.

“Wild” card. Nice! “He’ll be all week (and for many more), Folks. Try the veal and tip your staff freely!”

Thanks for pointing out the woeful lack of coverage/video for the pro women’s races. Lauren Hall’s Gent-Wevelgem victory got a bit of press this weekend, but I could only find a minute, 40 seconds worth of video for what sounded like a really interesting race.
