How The Race Was Won – Giro d'Italia 2014 – Stages 4-9

Posted on 19 May 20144 July 2021 by cosmo

Rainy, rainy, rainy, to the point that the GC shake-ups seem to have had less impact on the GC than the flat and intermediate stages.

Thanks as always. Stage 9 was one of the more enjoyable races this year. OGE have a pretty deep team.

Base79 has a contract with IMG who has a contract with the Giro. I’m working on it, but basically, there are a lot of people in suits who 1) don’t understand the Internet 2) are checking boxes on their contracts.

As you can see, the content’s back up and will probably stay there.

Possibly an issue with GCN – their parent company (Shift) look after the Giros PR etc so might be looking at copying HTRWW into their terrible news shows – much like they’ve ripped off the guy who did Google fly throughs of mountain stages. Whatever it is, I hope they lay off you. No one does it better. Keep it up dude.
