oh man i totally lost it at “st crispin’s day” too funny man. good to have you back!
Welsh cyclist Nicole Cooke had a book just come out that provides personal insight into the poor and laughable media coverage of female cycling. One point that stood out was that journalists and commentators will talk/write what they know. So while they fumble about trying to identify the rider on screen they fallback on talking about men’s cycling…during the women’s race. I don’t mind the press comparing Vos to Merckx, but It would be a nice change of pace to hear them trade notes on Vos vs Armistead or Stevens or Johansen.
BTW my top 2 hits on google wen typing “female cyclists” was female cyclists legs and female cyclists sexy…
Enjoy your stuff Cosmo. This weeks t-shirt sponsor is pronounced “Beechy,” not “Beesy.” In Italian, the letter c becomes soft when followed by the letter i. “Bici” is the common abbreviation for bicicletta (bicycle).
Dude, for a moment I thought that you had somehow edited the author’s name in the snapshot of the VeloNews article (1:08) about the French comeback, because Barnaby Chesterman couldn’t possibly be someone real… alas, I was wrong.
Keep up the good work!
