How The Race Was Won – Paris-Tours 2014

Posted on 14 October 20144 July 2021 by cosmo

(if the above isn’t working, go here)

By many accounts, the last race of the European season. Certainly plenty of riders in the pack were eager to get ‘cross season to underway, especially considering the slick pavement, but still a few riders gunning for that last big result—just some gunning a bit harder than others.

Embedded video not working, and just FYI the “if not working go here” link below it goes to the Il Lombardia recap, not Paris Tours…

You were somehow caught between sites in the migration. Your comment appeared on the new host (here), but you’re describing bugs that only exist on the old host (because it’s connectivity earlier in the day was too crappy for me to fix them).

Anyway, it should be working now.

Classic Paris-Tours antics: late-season exhaustion and disorganization allows a small group to stay clear of the sprinters. Too bad Voeckler didn’t land his one big classic win.
