How To Watch A Bike Race

Posted on 10 December 20144 July 2021 by cosmo

A brief guide to where to find the cool stuff during a bike race. Obviously, you’ll see the break, you’ll see the guys leading the chase, and you’ll see the finish, but I’ve always found the real meat of the sport to be happening just behind the focus of the camera.

The best description of how to understand a race as it unfolds, that I’ve ever come across.

This new video player doesn’t work. Keeps freezing. For this incarnation of random bugs in this video player we have the advert playing for 3 seconds with no sound then completely freezing. I love your videos, but it’s crossing the point where to pain the actually watch the video is becoming greater than the satisfaction I get from watching it.

Brilliant. As a new rider, my months of watching ‘How The Race Was Won’ has been fascinating but largely baffling. Would love to see even more of this kind of analysis/instruction!
