How The Race Was Won – Men’s Cyclocross World Championships 2015

Posted on 2 February 20154 July 2021 by cosmo

Despite the fact that it became road season last week (kinda), the cyclocross world still had yet to throw its final farewell bash. While still an interesting enough event, this year’s edition will almost certainly be better remembered for the clash of rivals it wasn’t.

As there was full coverage of the women’s event, which was even more exciting in my opinion, do you plan on doing a htrww for that one, too?

Definitely. Anyone who thinks the men’s race was better this year is wrong. Men’s race got done first based on scheduling decisions made a while ago. Might need a day to recover (coming off a brutal schedule of TWIB > 5am start > 5am start > HTRWW) but the women’s event will be here soon.

The woman’s race was definitly more exciting to watch, but just beacause Van der Poel makes it look easy doesn’t mean this guy (and van Aert ofcourse) are the long awaited next generation champions at a very young age already… can’t wait to see what vdPoel is going to do on the road!
