How The Week Was Won – 2016 Tour de France, Stages 1-5

Posted on 7 July 20164 July 2021 by cosmo

The first of our our new “How The Week Was Won” videos shows that despite some opportunity for mass disruption, the 2016 Tour has gotten off to a slow start—at least from the prospective of the overall classification. The result has been more than a few bonkers sprints, where experience and solid teamwork have mostly ruled the day. Check out the first “weekly” winner of this year’s TdF, and [SPOILERS] it’s a trend that’s continued into today’s stage, too.

Thanks to Scott and CyclingTips for making it happen, and yes—that t-shirt is a thing you can buy

I wondered why Cav wasn’t there on stage 4. Thanks for showing the reason. Great job as always.
