How The Race Was Won – Giro d’Italia 2017 – Stages 5-9

Posted on 15 May 20174 July 2021 by cosmo

Some breakaways, a crazy sprint, the occasional crash, some colossal organizational errors, and the Giro’s first big GC shake up. Stages 5-9 were many things, but they certainly weren’t boring. Here’s a second HTRWW installment for the 2017 Giro, thanks to the good rightsholders at Eurosport.

Don’t forget to catch up on Giro Stages 1-4. Fixed the autoplay issue because I am also a web developer.

    Hi Cosmo,

Nifty little solution to the autoplay issue. I had a play around yesterday with it out of curiosity and noticed you’d put two ‘?’s in the URL and put ‘autplay’ instead of ‘autoplay’ but in the end it didn’t matter because the player didn’t recognize the parameter anyway!

    Overlaid image for the win!
