Anyone else out there tired of talking about doping? How about taking a look at a few races contested by the type of rider who apparently never needs to dope? I’ve been out of town for the past two weeks, but am finally catching up on the late-season classics, and so (turning a blind eye to Danilo Hondo’s fairly significant role), here’s a How The Race Was Won on Paris-Tours 2010.

It’s an exciting conclusion, despite the relative lack of action from the one-day specialists. Their absence does set up some interesting plot lines going into Lombardy, though the parcours at that event might lead us right back into the doping discussion again.
YES! HTRWW is back, that’s awesome news! Thank you so much Cosmo for putting your time into these videos, can’t even count how often I’ve watched some of these already because it’s always nice to remember some thrilling races (e.g. this year’s LBL, last year’s Paris-Tours or the brilliant Saxo Bank display at LBL last year) months or years later.
I love these videos, can’t wait for Lombardia and hopefully it’s accompanying HTRWW!

in one of the photos used s evidence that sprinters win this rsce often isnt that dekker?hands in air that almost got caught on the line after a long breakaway
…I think he’s refering to the fact that in the past 15 yrs or so, the sprinter’s teams have had difficulty shutting down the break before the line. But yeah, it is Dekker.

Yes- I am tired of talking about doping. I was chatting to a mate earlier and he was telling me that back in the old days at the Tour they used to swig whiskey en route as they thought it would help! Maybe that’s where the doping culture stems from!

When I first saw the new feature on VeloNews it was very exciting. Your videos have been very entertaining and assumed that you were being paid by VeloNews to create new ones. After watching I quickly realized that the video posted was a very, very cheap knock off.
This video was an excellent example of how to “make love to your machine” and create a very entertaining race recap.
