A lot of cool and varied teamwork from a variety of squads, mercifully few crashes, near-fisticuffs, and nicely tactical final k. All in all, not a bad Amstel. Watch on Vimeo if the embed above doesn’t work—it’s a better site anyway.

Great job, LOVE the outro-music!
Blinding work, Cosmo!
Luv the Tanner comments. He’s top man for keeping his cool and focusing on what was far more important. A great ride for everyone, but the champ took it. Delighted to see him shrug off the Rainbow ‘curse’ early in the season and give his team a huge sigh of relief. No doubt, it will give MK the confidence to eye-up even more victories.
Cheers
Hindsight is always 20/20 but GVA should have worked with Fuglsang would have made Movistar and OGE work harder.
Thanks Cosmo, brilliant commentary as usual.
OMG why didn’t Gilbert see the headwind and go later on! Clearly he can surge and stay away if it is less far. And if his team mate Mr. V and he were in tandem they might have both finished one two if went to the downwind side of the sprint, as Mr. K did.
“…and Simon Clark gets tired right….here.” Brilliant. I miss so much watching live.
Great analysis on an awesome race. I flew over for this from the states, and checked a bucket list item. The towns of Maastricht and Valkenburg are great, and very affordable to stay in.
Awesome. Super stoked to watch yet another great video from you, Cosmo. Thanks!
Great video, just found you on Steephill.
Keep it up – great summary and very viewable for those of us ‘with a life (wife)’ who can’t sit and watch live feeds all day long.
Nice one Cosmo, don’t know how you do it, but this recap actually makes the race look exciting 🙂 Keep it up!
