‘cross worlds, sloppy reporting, Dubai, more Dubai, have you guys heard of this Dubai thing?, more races, helmets, Sanchez, gifs, women, Qatar, the women’s “Tour”, a better solution.

good stuff as always Cosmo. You’re right about P-R making a great race but I’ll take a more practical approach. Given that the objective is to get people to watch the women I’d say they made a good choice. You can bet the women will race their brains out, there will be a legit breakaway which might work or there will be a reduced field sprint. Paris will make a great backdrop and Sunday afternoon is a good TV time slot (the men are finishing at night again, right?). Yes P-R would be better for us regular fans but I think the idea is to get more people interesting in women’s racing, right now it’s really sad. The prize money tables for the women is pathetic. And in terms of getting women interested in the sport I’d venture that they’d be more interested in a road race through Paris than surviving the cobbles. Say, haven’t they had a women’s Tour of Flanders? Wonder what the timing of that event was?

It’s quite old, and it looks like Spreadshirt has discontinued that color of T. But this will probably let you get pretty close: https://cyclocosm.spreadshirt.com/cyclocosm-new-logo-tee-A14515554

Thanks for your comments on womens racing. I think there needs to be much more discussion on the redonkulous inequality going on between mens and womens road racing. That’s why I like ‘cross. Same courses, same fans, Katie Compton.

But on to the really serious question: whats the story on the “Twilight” can/box/thingy in the background?
