How The Race Was Won – Tour de France 2014 – Stages 16-21

I was out of town, so we managed to secure a guest narrator. Took a while to get the finished product out as he insisted on final cut.

Bravo! This reminded me of Dr Henry Killinger (Kissinger parody) from he Venture Brother cartoon series! (don’t know if allowed to post links, but this is what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyj8uKiSX6E )

I think you should be cast in the remake of “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb”. Your combination of blasé and melancholy is unprecedented in cycling race commentary.

Now I am as happy as a little girl. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9p5ey_sprockets-germany-s-most-disturbing_shortfilms . Clearly, this is art as high or higher than Mike Myers doing Dieter on SNL’s Sprockets skits. Probably higher due to the skill required to apply the style to bicycle racing.

    That’s it.

There’s a new watermark for brilliance in HTRWW.

Bravo, Werner. You have truly outdone yourself.

This will live on as a classic HTRWW and gradually reveal multiple layers of brilliance with sequential re-viewing over the years!

As I look down at the world from on high I gotta tell you this was some seriously funny shit that surpasses even your normal brilliance. Thank you for making the world a better place through cycling commentary and laughter.

Werner’s process is amazing and he’s obviously been a fan of yours. I can understand the project must have been a long time in the making. Congrats to both your support teams [managers, lawyers, production] for getting the white tape finalized and bringing to us another great product.
On final note, Megalized should consider Weiner as a spokesman if they want to break into the parochial European market.

A TRIUMPH! Cosmo Catalino and Werner Herzog repress the odds and tempt fate to possibly deliver the best HTRWW in filmic history. A tour de force tour de farce tour de france. Bravo!
