Great podcast. Cosmo, I’m glad that you did not make that inane comment about the virtues of AG2R’s “academic approach” to rider recruitment. I’m a college professor who is skeptical of such an approach (which is not to say that pro riders with college degrees have not been successful). A better approach is to recruit the ones who barely finish high school, completely lack a backup plan and are so desperate to succeed at pro cycling that they’ll do practically anything! Oh, that describes the young Lance Armstrong, doesn’t it? Let me rethink that.

I’m sure there’s a market for a podcast like this, but it comes off as dry and borderline awkward. Are you guys recording these in seperate locations? It sounds more like i’m evesdropping on a bike nerd phone conversation than a podcast about pro cycling.

Separate locations?! Try separate time zones.

Most of the trouble is that my house is very noisy and echoey. Scouting some acoustically stronger locations for the T-A episode.
