Great breakdown, Cosmo. I feel like this year’s race should be Exhibit A in any case on behalf of Velon’s proposed reforms: basically you had the guys on the stacked, bid-budget squads contesting the GC, and then everyone else fighting for last-week stages.
Pretty telling that you can “yadda Yadda Yadda” stages 4 though 8 at this race.
