How The Race Was Won – 2017 Tour de France – Stages 16-21

Posted on 24 July 20174 July 2021 by cosmo

So the last week may have been a teeny bit anti-climatic, but the 2017 Tour remains the closest and most competitive event in recent memory. By forcing the contenders out of their usual routine, it showed once again that the eventual winner might not get enough credit for his mastery of the aspects of bike racing outside watts-per-kilo.

Thanks again to Eurosport for the footage; you can find more on the 2017 Tour de France at their website: https://www.eurosport.com/cycling/

Dear Certain commentator. As always I love to see what I missed through these videos, and now I know to contact you to bet on the race next year.

Great summary for a Tour finish that seemed to be mailed in. Like what you did with the closing song ’44 fours’ – a predilection of next year’s TdF going to squads of 8 (22 teams?). Always enjoy your analysis.

I think my favorite crowd funding occurred when you allowed for us to pay for a rant. Good luck and keep us posted!
