How The Race Was Won – Vuelta a España 2018 – Stage 9

Sep 3 2018

And we’re off on the first HTRWW’d Vuelta since 2014, and the first real hilltop finish did not disappoint. Strong action and a perfectly primed GC for another two weeks of typically unpredictable Vuelta a España action.

Thanks again to Eurosport Cycling for making this happen, and don’t hesitate to click the “no, please help!” link in the upper right of the video player especially if you live in France or outside of Europe as you are likely to have issues with the video if you are in these places.

So glad to have you back. Your commentary and the things you notice add so much to my enjoyment of the race. I do however miss the little bit of random audio that used to go during credits. I keep waiting for it but it doesn’t come. Clever.

I’m a little bummed to miss those, too. But licensing (which is already a mess) gets even more complicated if I want to start using music.
